According to Sony’s financial report for the second quarter, the PlayStation Network saw 127 million active players during the period, an increase of 8 million players compared to the same period last year.
Ironically, this financial quarter coincided with the PlayStation boycott by gamers! Remember that week when players decided to disconnect from the PlayStation Network and boycott its services? Yes, this is the same period that saw the highest number of active players for the PlayStation 5. Once again, social media proves that it has no connection to reality.
