Xbox has announced new updates to its PC app aimed at improving performance and easier access to the library and friends list. The app now opens up to 60% faster, while loading times for frequently used pages has improved by 50%. The user interface has also been tweaked to make searching and navigating between games easier.
The improvements also include a browser-based Xbox experience, with a clearer way to see available Cloud Gaming games by device, along with an enhanced Desktop mode and options to control appearance and contrast. The updates are currently rolling out to Xbox Insider Program members, with availability for other users to follow at a later date. The Cloud Gaming experience on compatible TVs and VR headsets will also receive an improved interface.
