Parted Magic is a ready-made solution for managing hard drive partitions using a bootable LiveCD. It includes a suite of utilities for managing partitions, configuring the installed system, accessing the internet, and performing any data operations (deletion, recovery, transfer, etc.).
This is one of the best solutions for partition management in the Linux environment, based on the source code of GParted, but has several differences for the better.
